CEC Grant Funds can be used to purchase Electric Vehicles for government use on public roads. This can include light duty EVs, such as sedans or pickup trucks, for instance for use by code enforcement staff, or heavy duty EVs, such as bucket trucks.
Vehicles must be new battery electric vehicles and purchased by the municipality, not leased.
