CEC Grant Funds can be used to fund the purchase and deployment of solar panels for local energy generation. Solar panels funded by this grant type must be owned by the municipality, and can be deployed wherever feasible, such as rooftops of municipal facilities, parking lots, or other municipal land.
How to Get Started
Interested municipalities should identify potential candidates for solar generation, and should begin identifying and engaging at least one NY-Sun approved contractor.
